The River Merrimac(k) Bar and Grill gets the mixed-message nod in the Globe, here. I had read elsewhere (Yelp) that the review was not positive, or at least the person posting on Yelp did not see it as positive, but it's not that bad.
Having just touted somewhere that was $18.95 for Sunday lunch, I can hardly comment on the prices.
I find restaurant reviews in publications that have an interest in the business (as in, ad sales) to be pretty much useless anyway.
