I just got an email from a woman on the landfill neighbors alert system (a list of people, basically). She is saying that even some of her neighbors don't know the latest on the landfill because "the news paper is not enough ... some of my neighbors do not buy the DN."
So if some/many of the immediate neighbors of the landfill don't know about the proposed 70 trucks, how the hell can we expect the rest of the city to rally?

Well, might I suggest these folks might want to accept a little responsibility on this issue?
Buy the paper or read it online. That's what I'd be doing (and, in fact, I do.)
I am an Everett resident and you should really view the tape from our Board of Alderman meeting. You can get from the City of Everett’s ECTV. The attorney for Mr. Thibeault, Anthony Rossi, stated that the State would intervene if Newburyport voted no. When has the state ever intervened for the people I ask you? When he made so many people suffer in both Everett and Newburyport. The past two days our fire department has had to use their resources because Woodwaste is smoking. The stench coming from this is one that cannot even be put into words. He still is non-compliant here for 12 years. You need to do whatever you can to break all ties with this man and cap the landfill by other means.
