So now that I have my car back from the garage, Mary's blog is back and for now all is good with the world, let me say that tomorrow morning I am going into Boston to (hopefully) talk briefly with Gloria Steinem.
She is delivering the keynote address at a breakfast meeting of the Commonwealth Institute. I'm covering it for Applaud magazine.
And I think I did not give the City Council enough credit. We'll see.
