New Feature

Google has this new thing - the Blog List - that shows when another blogger last updated their blog and gives a snippet from the post.

What do you think? Keep the snippet, or lose the snippet? I'm not sure about the snippet ... (scroll down to see the list, on the left).

I like the snippet. Or at least a date stamp would be nice.

Leaning toward keeping the "snippets," as well --- though your choice.

Either way, it does offer an opportunity to further "loom wisdom" (*) between the various blogs --- which tend to represent soliloquies versus a colloquy (e.g., ongoing conversation) --- as we previously agreed. (**)

** For, wonder how often people will go back to your earlier posts to revisit (additional) comments? (Would assume infrequently.)

Which commends a message board forum (over a blog format) --- the former offering a more conversational flow. Despite other drawbacks.

I went without snippet.

It'll be interesting to see what this does to the number of visitors since people won't need to click over to check if there is fresh material.

That will indeed be interesting - but people check for new comments also, and this does not address comments. But it is cool, I see both Ari and Mary have new posts.

I do like the snippet. Though mine look so inane next to the others. *sigh*
