The monarchs have returned

This is why I keep the milkweed and why I have a butterfly bush. Of course, the furball had to assist with the photos (he was getting a big kick out of the butterfly flitting from the milkweed to the bush).

Other shots are of my little garden. I got nothing on Mary from SouthEnd Blend for photography, but I figure it's worth a shot ... *ahem*

AH! The elusive Monarch! We haven't seen one yet in our little garden, but there is a sweet little white butterfly that flutters in and out often, but my camera is always out of reach. Great shots!!

And thanks for the compliment, too :)

Mary,

I am a capable photographer, nothing more! You really have an eye for setting up a shot.

I'm kind of upset that I cut 3 sunflowers today and they are dying in here. I hate cutting the flowers in the first place.

I have only seen the 2 monarchs (and only one today), so I'm thinking these are eary arrivals.

Get some of that purple stuff ...!
