I just checked my Yahoo email - 18 messages, 16 of them spam.
One of the 2 remaining I think is a story idea.
The other brought me joy. A woman wrote after reading my mention in a post of Holly Robinson Cookson's forthcoming book, "Memoir of a Gerbil Keeper's Daughter." It seems she went to high school with Holly and did not know how to reach her.
She asked me to forward her email address to Holly, which I have done, and hopefully they will now be in contact once again!
It's not all in vain.
