I heard this morning that the mayor has made his decision about the administrative order on the landfill owner and that he will be sending something written out today.
He has to talk to the City Council and ad hoc committee first, I was told.
Sounds to me like he's going for it, but what do I know?

Sounds as if Moak doesn't realize what's in store for Newburyport and also it sounds as if he's folding to Nylen.
Doesn't he get it that this is going to help the court case in April. It's only one month away. The landfill has been closed for a year. I find this rush too suspicious. Go to trial and see what the judge says.
We all laughed at DeMaria and sounds as if DeMaria made some sense. Now that's a scary thought. I had more faith in Moak than this.
The Mayor of Everett DiMaria, and Wood Waste, Thibeault, signed a Consent Agreement today. It was said at tonight's Board of Alderman's meeting. There was absolutely no discussion on it, so the general public has no idea what is in this agreement.
If and when I can find any information I will pass it along.
Well, in Everett tonight the Alderman were told that a consent agreement was signed today. The Alderman were given the agreement five minutes before the Alderman meeting. I find it all too convenient that Mayors DeMaria and Moak are making this move at the same time. There is something up.
Nothing happened here today ... and the mayor wasn't at the City Council meeting tonight.
