As the turbine turns (final episode)

I just returned from the ribbon cutting at Mark Richey Woodworking.

Man it's cold out there!

I don't really have much to say about it, except that I thought there might be some protesters - but there weren't.

And since the turbine is now officially here to stay, the saga "As the turbine turns" has come to an end.

It's here, there's nothing to be done about it - and unless it falls over, I'm done talking about it.

Did you object to the turbine? I like turbines.

I don't object to turbines and I think this one is rather beautiful. I object to the haste with which the owner was allowed to erect it when it has such an impact on the abutting neighborhood.

That flicker in my house would bother me to the point where I'd have to block the window completely or move - it bothers me when I'm driving and the sun flickers through the trees as I drive by ... you know we (family) all have issues with light ... flickering fluorescent lights bother me, too.

Interesting that the Daily News story makes absolutely no mention of the past conflict with the neighbors -- not even one sentence. Another puff piece.
