Back to the basics

All morning I've been running scans on my laptop.

I really have to wonder why Norton Antivirus could scan my entire laptop in about 45 minutes when both McAfee and Malware take about 1-1/2 hrs. Each.

I even started the McAfee scan then drove up to Seabrook; when I got back, it was still running.

For some reason last night and this morning, everything froze on the laptop (which was delightful this morning since I was at the end of a long email to my editor and I lost it all).

Between electronic banking, laptop issues and sewer issues I'm getting real sick of modern technology. And any conjugated form of the word "freeze."

I'll be posting via carrier pigeon (or owl) from now on.
