Plum Island Center, Friday afternoon. Taken from the middle of the street. The sand is in what was a small parking lot.

If the erosion continues at the rate it seems to be following, this is where the breach will occur.

The second shot is of two houses on Old Point Rd., on my side of Plum Island, but in Newbury. The owner of the ranch house behind, I
believe, built the house there with the understanding that the lot in front of him was "unbuildable." That was before the water/sewer system was put in.

Now the ranch house is empty (was up for rent) and the new house in front is up for sale after being lived in (?) very briefly.
