Well here's something you don't want to see when you go on the CNN website. Yes, those are Green Line trolleys.More details, such as they are, here (from WCVB, Boston).
The story says the Green Line is the heaviest traveled light-rail line in the country.
Oh, dear. I have probably been on both those trains at least one time or another. Apparently there are no serious injuries, so that's a blessing.

Unfortunately, the early news was wrong. The operator of the train that hit the other one has died.
