I just read this piece in the Daily News, about the new owner of the former Mike's Subs building and how the Water Commission gave its "go ahead" on his building permit. (There is also something in today's Current, but I don't see it on line.)
I'll add to the story that the Sewer Commission last night did NOT follow suit with the Water Commission and ordered DPS Director Brendan O'Regan to NOT take any action on the building permit until O'Regan gets the legal opinion ...
