I'm off to garden

Today is gardening day, instead of the usual Saturday morning.

I expect there to be many, many weeds in our little plot behind the First Parish Church, but our veggies appear to be flourishing.

Or they were, last time I saw them.

I have to note here that I hear that the people who own the property that abuts the former field behind the church really object to having the community gardens there. They think it's too noisy, or intrusive, or something.

This goes back to people doing what they will with their own property and upsetting the neighbors; although I never imagined someone would be upset about a community garden.

Maybe they should stick a windmill in there and see how that goes over ...
