Why not?

I was told - and noticed myself - that the former home of Carlson GMAC real estate on Green St. is up for lease.

This is a big old house with a one-story addition (?) and a HUGE parking lot behind it.

Can anyone say "senior center?"

I can.

Oh wait, I did. Back in Feb.

Give it up! I've speculated about every piece of available property!

Damn, I forgot about that ... and it's just been sitting there, empty, when seniors could be happily enjoying the place? I've been in there; it's really nice.

Why can't we use the second floor of city hall. It is empty most of the time, heated, accessible, and convenient.

Anonymous, I forget exactly what the objections are to City Hall. Parking, maybe? Meals on Wheels accessibility, probably.

How many square feet is it? Are the upper floors handicapped accessible? How many square feet is the addition? How many cars can the parking lot accommodate? What is the asking price?

If your answers are 1) more than 8,000, 2) yes or possible, 3)more than 4,000, 4)50 or more, and 5) less than a gazillion, then we're talking.

Hey, anonymous, I started out trying to find out answers to your questions - but then I was told that a doctor has bought the place and is leasing out office space in it.
